Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Cyprus Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Cyprus exhibited diverse trends in downloads and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Earth saw a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, with figures fluctuating between approximately 400 to 600. The highest number of downloads occurred in the week of August 2, reaching around 595. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this quarter.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced a slight increase in downloads, peaking at 429 during the weeks of August 16 and August 23. The app's revenue saw a notable spike in the week of August 9, reaching $20, but otherwise remained modest, generally around $2 per week.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps had a steady performance in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 229 to 353. The highest revenue was recorded in the week of July 5, with approximately $142, and it maintained a consistent weekly revenue between $56 and $123 throughout the quarter.

MAPS.ME: Offline maps GPS Nav showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 357 in the week of August 23. The app's revenue was highest in the week of July 12 at $22, while other weeks saw minimal revenue contributions.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at 416 in the week of July 5 and dropping to 115 by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively flat, predominantly around $1 to $2 per week.
